Setting the cutting position

Switch on the printer. The active paper source (Tractor1) is displayed in the LCD.
Paper is automatically fed when the printer is in Online status and receives data

from the computer.

Press the Load key to load paper before printing.
Setup
This example shows how to load paper in tractor 1. Of course, you can also use
tractor 2 or tractor 3 in the same way. For more details, refer to the standard
Quick start guide and/or the User guide on the Online CD-ROM. We recommend
to use only one tractor since the cutting position may change when the paper
source is changed.
This parameter sets the position where the cut device will cut the paper.
Press the Setup key. The printer changes to Setup status.

Avoid entering a cutting position above the perfo-

ration of the fanfold paper, since an excess at the
perforation may cause a paper jam.
Before setting the cutting position, make sure that paper is
loaded and the printer is in Offline status.
We recommend a cutting position of 2 to 3 millime-
ters below of the perforation edge.
