If electronic rim distance and diameter measurement
is not possible, wheel data can also be entered
manually.
Measuring rim distance and diameter manually

To manually enter the rim data, you must deactivate
the automatic gauges.

To activate/deactivate the gauges, see chap.
"Machine settings".
1. On the main balancing phase, recall the menu
"Entering rim data".
2. Position the distance calliper gauge on the rim and
detect the value in position "K" on the millimetric
scale;

3. Use o u to enter the rim distance value measured in
"mm".

The rim diameter can be detected on the rim itself
or measured with a measurement compass.

4. Use o u to enter the rim diameter value measured
in "inches".
i For certain types of rim, the rim diameter is given in
"mm". After changing the units with the appropriate
key, enter the value given in "mm".
Measuring rim width automatically

The software will automatically suggest an estimate
of the rim width once the electronic rim distance
gauge has been positioned for rim distance and
diameter measurement.

For efficient measurements, it is recommended to
use the angle gauge and the sonar probe. Refer to
the associated manuals.
Measuring rim width manually

The rim width can be measured using the
measurement compass.
