solvents and, once hardened, standard paint.

Touch up the paint at intervals as required by local
environmental and atmospheric conditions.

We recommend wiping the door regularly with a soft, damp
cloth. If necessary, use a mild cleaning agent or soap with
lukewarm water. Avoid using any polishing agents or
abrasive or organic solvents/cleaning agents. Before
cleaning, flush the door and glazing thoroughly with water to
avoid scratches caused by dust particles.
Maintenance by suitably qualified installers:

Check the door according to the inspection instructions.

Check screws and clamp connections for secure fit and
tighten if necessary.

Check wearing parts (springs, steel cables, etc.) and
replace with original spare parts, if necessary.

Check that the spring tension is correct. Comply with the
installation instructions
adjustment.

Replace the torsion springs and steel cables after approx.
25,000 cycles (open/close).
This is necessary:
Every 14 years for 0 - 5 cycles a day
Every 7 years for 6 - 10
Every 3.5 years for 11 - 20

5 resp. 10-year manufacturer's guarantee on
sectional doors
In addition to the warranty based on our conditions of sale and
delivery, we guarantee the aforementioned sectional doors for
10 years subject to no more than 50,000 cycles of operation.
We grant a manufacturer's guarantee of 5 years on wearing
parts, such as locks, hinges, springs, bearings, rails, rope pulls
and associated ropes subject to normal load exposure or no
more than 25,000 cycles of operation.
We grant a manufacturer's guarantee of 10 years against the
sections rusting from the inside out, on the separation of steel
from foam, and on all floor, intermediate, side and header seals.

Multiple spring assemblies and double steel cables on doors
with tension springs must be replaced after approx. 25,000
cycles, while torsion springs 35
replaced on doors with torsion springs (see installation
instructions).
If material or manufacturing faults have demonstrably rendered
the doors or parts of them unfit for use or have considerably
impaired their usability, we shall, at our own discretion, repair or
replace them free of charge.
No liability is accepted for damages caused by faulty or
improper installation, commissioning or operation, failure to
perform the specified maintenance, exposure to undue loads or
any unauthorized changes to the structure of the door. Original
spare parts only must be used when adding to, or modifying the
doors or when replacing parts in the course of maintenance or
repair works. The same applies to any damage caused during
transportation, by force majeure, foreign objects, natural wear
and tear, or atmospheric influences.
The warranty also lapses in the event of failure to observe our
installation and operating instructions.
No liability is accepted if functional parts are modified or
repaired without authorization or additional filling weight is
added which is not compensated by the prescribed torsion
springs.
The surface warranty for all door leaves with final coating in
original colour that are installed in Germany extends to the
adhesion of the colour and/or foil, corrosion protection, and fade
resistance. Slight changes in colour that can occur over time are
excluded from the warranty. Doors and door surfaces in coastal
areas are subject to aggressive climate influences and require
appropriate additional protection. Any and all flaws or defects
arising as a result of damage to the product, such as abrasion,
mechanical or wilful damage, soiling and improper cleaning, are
excluded from this warranty.
In the case of base coated doors, the top coat must be applied
on site within three months from the date of delivery. Small
surface flaws, minor corrosion, dust inclusions or surface
scratches on base coated doors do not constitute grounds for
complaint since they will disappear once the surface is sanded
and the top coat applied.
Exposure to direct sunlight may cause doors with a width of

Our products are subject to technical alterations in the course of
product modifications, changes in colours or materials, or
improvements to production processes, which may alter their
appearance;
acceptable when replacing parts under warranty.
Any faults must be communicated to us in writing immediately,
and the parts concerned must be sent to us upon request. We
will not bear any costs of removal, installation, freight or
postage. In the event that a complaint ultimately proves to be
unjustified, we reserve the right to charge the costs incurred.
This guarantee is only valid together with the signed invoice and
starts on the day of delivery.
