MOUNTING THE WATER SOFTENER ON THE
PREMOUNTED BYPASS VALVE
The connection flange of the water softener is covered by a white protector cap. This protector cap is se-
cured by four cylinder screws M6×100.
Do not grasp into the connection flange of the device after removing the white
protector cap (crush hazard)!
/ Loosen all four cylinder screws M6×100, but don't remove them (bayonet fixture).
/ Remove the white protector cap.
The section of the profiled flange gasket must point towards the built-in rotary flange (see fig. 3). Failure
to observe this can lead to leaks and water escaping. This can in turn cause water damage to the house and
its installations.
/ Connect the built-in rotary flange JQE 1" to the connection flange of the water softener by engaging
the bayonet fitting (see fig. 5 I). Observe the flow direction arrow on the built-in rotary flange!
/ Tightly fasten the four cylinder screws M6×100.
Select the torque (approx. 4 Nm) so that the gasket closes!
/ Connect the armoured hoses to the built-in rotary flange JQE 1" (see fig. 5 II).
/ Connect the free ends of the armoured hoses to the bypass valve JQU (see fig. 5 III).
Again pay attention to the flow direction!
Pay attention to a proper and professional installation!
Select the torque of the threaded hose couplings so that all gaskets close!
The armoured hoses must not be laid under tension!
Place the water softener accordingly!
/ Slide the transparent safety overflow hose over the connecting piece (see fig. 5 IV).
