CONNECTING A LAN CABLE

For remote control the device can be connected by a LAN cable with the CLEAR BOX (see chapter 10.6
"ACCESSORIES").
6.8

MODIFICATIONS/CHANGES/SPARE PARTS

Only original spare parts are to be used!
Arbitrary modifications and changes are prohibited for safety reasons! They can
impair the function of the water softener.
The imprinted test marks are only valid if original spare parts are used.
6.9

SERVICING/REPAIR

Before carrying out any work on the water softener, which extends beyond pure
operational control, the water softener must be depressurised!
Failure to observe this can lead to an uncontrolled escape of water and therefore lead to water damage in
the building. Strictly comply with the instructions given in chapters 5 „INSTALLATION" and 8 „MAINTE-
NANCE".
6.10

STOPPAGES

The water supply to the softener is interrupted. The main tap is closed or the bypass valve
is switched over.
Disconnect the power supply from the socket! (If installed, disconnect the power
supply of the downstream metering pump too!)
/ The softener must be stored in a dry, frost-free place when dismantled.
/ The connecting flange must be protected against dirt and damage.
/ If the softener is refitted and put back into service, flushing and regeneration must always be carried
out first (see chapter 6.3 "COMMISSIONING")
