Maintenance

8.1

Cleaning

Clean the unit and the barcode reader regularly with a slightly damp cloth. The
front plate and other plates can be cleaned with industrial alcohol if necessary
(no solvents or Trichlor products).
Under no circumstances should the unit be sprayed or immersed in water nor
cleaned with compressed air.
8.2

Fusion cables

Regular control of the fusion cables is necessary. Damaged cables must be
replaced.
8.3

Control of the fusion voltage

Regular control of the fusion voltage with the Fusion Control Set (BREL Art. Nr.
30.0002 589)
If the measured value does not correspond with the value on the display, a
servicing of the machine must be carried out immediately by a service station
authorised by Georg Fischer.
8.4

Function Check-up

Regular functional check-ups and readjustments are required and these must
be carried out by a Georg Fischer authorized service agent.
