Protocol Memory
During the fusion process, data is recorded and stored in a fusion protocol.
The «CompactFlash-Card» is behind the hinged lid on the right-hand side of
the unit.
There is a detailed description of this feature in the chapter «Protocol».

Service Opening
The CompactFlash-Card is located underneath the hinged lid on the right side
of the MSA Plus 400. The socket to connect a cable from a PC or printer is
also located here. When working outdoors, the lid should be kept closed.

Power Supply
This unit is designed for a single-phase alternating current of 230 volts and a
frequency of 50–60 hertz. (For more specific details see chapter «Product
Information»)

Mains Supply
Power connections must have safety conductors and fuses with 16A (inert). A
FI safety switch is recommended.
1.9
Generator
There are no set rules to determine the necessary generator output.
Requirements will vary depending on the settings on the generator as well as
various environmental factors.

Extension Cables
Only use extension leads with a diameter of more than 2.5 mm
should be completely unwound from there holders

Starting Up
•
Verify that the MSA Plus 400 stands firmly and the ventilators have an
unobstructed air supply.
•
Confirm correct power connections.
•
Use the MSA Plus 400 according to the Operating Instructions.
