4.4 Measuring high Voltage

For measurements of voltages higher than 60 V DC or 30 V AC, never connect
the two probes at the same time with the device under test. First connect the
ground measuring cable with an insulated alligator clip to the ground
connection (e.g. the green yellow protective conductor of a power cord) and
then the red measuring cable also using an insulated alligator clip to the other
measuring point of the device under test). This prevents accidental short
circuits caused by lack of concentration or when it is hard to approach the
device under test. Therefore always first connect the ground measuring lead
and then the live conductor.

4.5 Built-in Buzzer

Each time you effectively press a key, the built-in buzzer will give a beep
sound.
One minute before the meter automatically switches off (auto power off
function), the buzzer shortly sounds 5 times in a row.
Before the meter switches off automatically, the buzzer gives one long beep.
Additionally the buzzer will sound in the following situations:
In AC voltage measurements, the AC voltage under test exceeds 750 V
In DC voltage measurements, the DC voltage under test exceeds 1000 V
With the unit µA shown on the display, the current under test exceeds
4000 µA
With the unit mA shown on the display, the current under test exceeds
400 mA
With the unit A shown on the display, the current under test exceeds 10 A
