13. Measuring relative Humidity
You can use the meter to measure relative humidity with the built-in humidity
sensor. The humidity sensor (16) is located on the top of the meter (see
picture on page III).
1. Set the rotary function / range switch (5) to the %RH position.
2. Place the meter in the environment where you want to measure the
humidity.
3. Wait until the reading is stable and read the reading on the display.
14. Measuring Sound Level
You can use the meter to measure the sound level of a sound source. The
sound sensor (14) is located on the top of the meter (see picture on page III).
1. Set the rotary function / range switch (5) to the dB position.
2. Direct the sound sensor to the sound source to be measured.
3. Read the reading on the display.
Notes:
The sound level measurements are affected by various criteria such as
noise of the environment, location of the meter and the distance between
the sensor and the sound source.
In windy conditions, place a windscreen (not supplied) in front of the sensor
to filter the noises caused by the wind, because the meter may give a
wrong reading in strong wind environment.
