2.3.2 Functions of the digital input ports

Caution:
Input ports are only suitable for controls using potential-
free contacts.
The input ports can be used to change the operation of the
unit. These have been arranged into four function groups (see
table 2-3):
1. unit on/off
2. heating on/off
3. discharge temperature
4. heating level
The function of an input port is activated by making a bridge
between 'G' and the appropriate terminal. If within one func-
tion group contacts of more than one input port have been
made, only the highest function has been activated, e.g. if in
the 'heating level' function group contact has been made on
both terminal G-L2 and terminal G-L4, only heating level no. 4
is activated.

All input ports have a common ground.
2.3.3 Function of the NTC port
Terminal 6 has a bridge. This bridge is required for the
proper operation of the unit. After bridge R1-C has been
removed, error message F4 will appear on the display of the
BMS module.
