Troubleshooting - Gastroback Design Coffee Aroma Plus Bedienungsanleitung

The build-up of lime in drip coffeemakers is normal and is caused by the minerals
commonly found in drinking water. When your appliance needs to be decalcified
you will notice an obvious slow down in brewing time. This results in an increase of
energy consumption and possibly the taste of the coffee will be affected.
Thus, depending on the water hardness and usage, your coffeemaker needs decalci-
fied periodically, to remove lime deposits (every 2 – 3 months). For this, we recom-
mend a solution of two tablespoons of white vinegar in 1.5 litres of cold water.
1. For decalcifying, always install the empty filter basket properly.
2. Pour the vinegar solution into the water reservoir and place the glass carafe on
the warming plate. Do not use a filter bag or coffee.
3. Connect the appliance to the power supply, and press the ON/OFF button to
switch ON the appliance.
4. When the brewing cycle is finished, empty the glass carafe and rinse with
water.
5. Refill the water reservoir with cold tap water and repeat the brewing cycle twice
with water only. This will rinse out any remaining vinegar solution. Thereafter,
the coffeemaker is ready for use again.

TROUBLESHOOTING

CAUSE
The display doesn't lit when the plug is
inserted into the socket.
After power on, press PROGRAM button but no
respond.
After power on, press Auto ON button but no
respond.
Coffee doesn't drain out from the funnel while
the machine is brewing.
SOLUTION
Check if the power supply or the socket is OK.
Please check if the clock is setted.

The Auto ON function can only be actuated when the
programtime is set.
1. It takes about 30 seconds after the unit is switched on for
the coffee beverage to drain out.
2. Check the top cover is in right place.
3. Check the glass carafe with lid is right in place.
