e) Turning on the transmitter

Always turn on the transmitter before connecting the rechargeable battery pack to the drive control.
Check the LEDs to make sure the batteries still provide enough power.
• If all three LEDs are lit, the batteries are full.
• If the green LED goes out (only red and green is lit), the batteries are low and should be exchanged soon. However,
there is still enough power to operate the transmitter and the vehicle without any problems.
• If only the red LED is lit, the batteries are empty and must be exchanged. Stop the vehicle and turn it off. Then
exchange the batteries or rechargeable batteries with new ones.

f) Connecting the battery pack to the drive control

Before connecting the battery pack to the drive control, activate the remote control (see chapter 9. d), and 9. e).
To prevent a sudden movement of the wheels and therefore an uncontrolled movement of the model
(e.g. if the trim for the drive is wrongly adjusted), place the model vehicle on a suitable surface or mount,
so that the wheels can turn freely.
Turn off the drive control (look at the descriptions next to the switch, e.g. "ON").
Now connect the battery pack to the drive control.
If you want to assemble the battery packs yourself, watch out for right polarity (red wire = plus, black wire = minus).

g) Activating the drive control

The switch to turn the drive control on/off is right next to the drive control
(see arrow in the illustration on the right). Put the switch in the "ON" position.
Also look at the descriptions on the switch or next to it.
