Refrigeration zones in the
appliance
The air circulation in the appliance
produces different refrigeration zones:
- The coldest zones are on the rear panel
and above the bottom shelf.
Tip: Store sparkling wine, white wine,
Champagne or rosé wine here.
- The warmest zone is at the top.
Tip: Store red wine here.
Normal operating noises
Droning
Bubbling,
humming or
gurgling noises
Clicking
Switching off the
appliance
•
Using a coin, rotate the temperature
selector (Fig. 2/1) in an anti clockwise
direction to position "0".
If the appliance is immediately switched on
again, the refrigerating unit starts running
again after several minutes.
Disconnecting the
appliance
If the appliance is not used for a prolonged
period:
•
Pull out the mains plug.
•
Clean the refrigerator compartment.
•
Leave the appliance door open and
stop it from closing.
Refrigerating unit is
running.
Refrigerant is
flowing through
the tubing.
Motor is switching
on or off.
Practical tips
•
Lay old bottles so that the corks are
always wet.
Never leave an air gap between the
wine and cork!
•
Recommended refrigeration tempera
tures:
- for white wine +10 to +12 °C
- or rosé wine and light red wine
+12 to +16 °C
- for heavy red wine +16 to +19 °C
- for Champagne and sparkling wine
+6 to +8 °C.
•
Before drinking the wine, slowly bring
it to room temperature (chambré):
- Rosé approx. 2 5 hours.
- Red wine approx. 4 5 hours.
- Heavy red wine 12 24 hours.
•
Serve white wine directly from the re
frigerator.
•
Before drinking sparkling wine or
Champagne, cool briefly in the re
frigerator and serve in an ice bucket.
