Prior to connection
Installing the appliance
Install the appliance in a dry, well ventilated
room. The appliance functions best when
the ambient temperatures fluctuate within
the permitted limits.
The permitted temperature limits are indi
cated via the climatic classes. The climatic
class of your appliance can be found on
the rating plate inside the appliance.

The appliance should not be installed in
direct sunlight or near a heat source such
as a cooker, radiator, etc. If installation
next to a heat source is unavoidable, use
a suitable insulating plate.
Observe the following minimum distances
to heat sources:
- 3 cm to an electric cooker,
- 30 cm to an oil or solid fuel cooker.

If installing the appliance next to another
refrigerator or freezer, ensure a minimum
lateral distance of 2 cm to prevent the
formation of condensation.
Appliances with fitted handles must be at
least 5.5 cm from the wall on the hinge
side so that the door can be opened by
90°.

The air on the rear panel of the appliance
heats up. The warm air must be able to
escape. Otherwise, the refrigerating unit
must work harder and the power
consumption is increased. Never cover or
block the ventilation openings!
Aligning the appliance

Remove the base panel: Press down
the front edge of the base panel until
it detaches itself from the housing.
•
Place the appliance in the installation
location.
•
Align the appliance:
Rotate the 4 height adjustable feet until
the appliance is stable and vertical.
If the underside of the door strikes the
door support when the door is being
closed:
•
Rotate the height adjustable foot on the
door opening side in an anti clockwise
direction until the underside of the door
just touches the door support.
d Attention!
Fit the anti tilt device before operating the
appliance.
•
Move the appliance away from the wall.
•
Position the anti tilt device bracket in
the middle of the appliance and screw
to the floor or wall with a wall plug.
•
Move the appliance back to the wall.
•
Attach the base plate.
