Using the appliance
Warning!
Do not store products which contain
flammable propellants (e.g. spray cans) or
explosive substances in this appliance.
Risk of explosion!
If the ambient temperature drops below
+6 °C, the appliance will stop refrigerating.
Shortly afterwards the temperature in the
refrigerator compartment will be the same
as the ambient temperature. From 0 °C
there is a risk of frost in the refrigerator
compartment!
While the refrigerating unit is running,
beads of water or hoarfrost form at the
back of the refrigerator compartment.
This is quite normal. It is not necessary to
scrape off the layer of hoarfrost or wipe off
the beads of water. The rear panel de
frosts automatically. The condensation
collects in the drainage channel (Fig. 6)
and is conveyed to the refrigerating unit
where it evaporates.
If the air humidity is high and the tempera
ture setting is low, condensation may form
in the lower area of the glass door.
Proceed as follows:
•
Wipe off condensation with a tea towel.
•
Quickly close the appliance door again!
•
Ventilate the room.
If the appliance door is open for longer
than 10 minutes, the interior light switches
off automatically (Fig. 2/2) in order to
prevent overheating.
After approx. 30 minutes the light switches
on again.
•
Unpack all drinks do not store in card
board boxes or cases.
•
Leave warm or hot drinks to cool out
side the appliance!

Storing bottles
d Attention!
Do not place more than 16 single litre or
22 ¾ litre bottles on each wooden shelf.
i Note
The wooden shelves can only be taken
out, or their height adjusted, when the
door has been opened by more than 90°.
The wooden shelves give a clear view of
the stored bottles. The open wooden
shelves are particularly suitable because
they do not interrupt the air circulation.
If very many bottles are to be stored, take
one or two wooden shelves out of the ap
pliance.

pointing forwards.

The area at the bottom is not very deep
on account of the motor compartment.
Store drinks cans or short wine bottles
only.
