The infeed platen will drop down to the lowered position. The blade will position itself in the cutting
channel.
D. Open the door to gain access to the cover unlocking button.
E. Hold down the unlocking button and open the cover.
F. Clean the blade using a damp cloth (be sure to wear cut-resistant gloves at all times when
replacing a blade or when working in the vicinity of blades).
IMPORTANT: Check the condition of the teeth on the blade. If you notice a degradation in
cutting quality, it will need to be replaced in accordance with the blade replacement procedure
(sect. 8.3).
G. Close the cover.
H. Switch off the main isolator switch for a few seconds, switch the power on again to the
machine and close the door in order to return the components to their initial position.
8.2

Weekly, by a trained operator

(fig.13)
A. Open the rear door.
B. Using a paintbrush or any small brush, sweep the crumbs towards the slot between the back
panel and the crumb shield.
C. Vacuum-clean the inside of the machine.
D. Close the rear door again.
E. Activate cleaning mode;
F. Open the cover;
G. Open the lower door;
H. Remove the spring fastening
I. Swing the cylinder out of the way and remove dust using a brush
J. Replace the spring fastening
K. Empty the crumbs from the crumb tray via the front door.
L. Switch off the main isolator switch for a few seconds, switch the power on again to the
machine and close the cover and the door in order to return the components to their initial
position.
8.3

Blade replacement by an approved dealer

(fig.14,21)
If deterioration in cutting quality and blade tooth wear is noticed or if the blade wear indicator lights
up, follow the steps below.
First of all, activate the blade cleaning mode (sect. 8.1.III, A, B, C, D, E)
A. Remove the 5 screws from the blade.
B. Withdraw the blade pivoting it slightly upwards.
C. Position the new blade, the washer supplied, and fit the new screws supplied with the blade.
D. Close the cover and the door.
E. Switch off the main isolator switch for a few seconds, switch the power on again to the
machine and close the door in order to reposition the components in their initial position.
Be sure to wear cut-resistant gloves always when replacing the blade or when working in
the vicinity of the blade.
