OPERATION

Setting the machine (fig.4,5)
A. Insert the loaf into the top of the channel on the machine and set the width of the channel by
unscrewing the two knobs and sliding the side guide up to the loaf.
B. Repeat with the top guide adjustment knob.
C. Set the loaf cutting depth as shown by the indicator (fig.5, n°16).
D. Set the loaf cutting height using the knob.

Operating procedure

A. Start the machine using the switch (fig.2, n°13) (fig.5).
B. Insert the loaf into the top of the channel on the machine.
C. Collect the sliced loaf (fig.6).

MAINTENANCE

8.1

Daily, by a trained operator.

A. Clean the tables (fig.1, n°1, 10) using a brush.
B. Use a dry cloth to clean the inside.
C. Use a damp cloth to clean the outside.
8.2

Annually, by an approved agent.

A. Remove the plug from the socket (fig.2, n°14).
B. Check the condition of the cutting blade (fig.9, n°19).
C. If you notice a deterioration in cutting quality, the cutting blade must be replaced (JAC part
number: 610022 in the JAC Spare Parts catalogue).
D. If the blade needs to be replaced, do so in accordance with the blade replacement procedure
(fig.8,9).
E. Clean with a brush and vacuum the inside of the machine.
Check that your approved agent has recorded his work in your service booklet in order to maintain
your 5-year warranty cover.
8.3

Replacing the blade.

Always wear cut-resistant gloves (EN 388:2003 version B= 5) and safety footwear when replacing the
blade or when working in the vicinity of the blade.
Having ensured that the plug on your machine (fig.2, n°14) has been disconnected from the mains:
Replace the blade:
A. Unscrew the three knobs located on top of the cover.
B. Unscrew the two knobs located on the right-hand side of the cover.
C. Remove the cover from the machine.
D. Insert a screwdriver in the hole in the blade ensuring that the screwdriver also passes
through the hole provided in the machine frame in order to prevent the blade from rotating. Use a
17 mm Allen key to release the blade. NB: This nut is a reverse (left-hand) threaded nut. Be sure
therefore to unscrew it clockwise.
