The cable holders may also be bolted to rough sur-
faces (bolts included in scope of delivery).

Take care not to damage any wiring when drilling any
holes required in the lifting platform or measurement
bay.

Route the wires of the wheel alignment unit such
that operation of the lifting platform is not impeded.
Make use of existing cable ducts.

Take care not to crush any cables. Short circuits
could damage the platform or the wheel alignment
system.
!
Make sure proper operation is guaranteed before
starting up the wheel alignment system and using
the lifting platform. Perform checking before driving
the vehicle into position.
1. Depending on the version of the lifting platform
(under-floor, elevated), attach the adapters to the
lifting platform in accordance with the instructions
provided.
2. If there are several envisaged positions for the
sensor, all the positions must be levelled.

Commissioning

3.1

Switch-on

1. Connect the FWA 46xx+ to the 230 V / 50 Hz mains
(110 V / 60 Hz USA).
2. Switch on the FWA 46xx+ by way of the master
switch.
3. The operating system runs up automatically.
" The wheel alignment start mask appears.

The standard language can be altered as follows:
1. Terminate the wheel alignment program.
2. Open Start menu.
3. Select control panel.
4. Select Clock, Language, and Region.
5. Select Region and Language.
6. Select Keyboards ans Languages.
7. Select Language.
8. Confirm the dialog with <ok>.
9. Confirm log off now.
" The computer is then re-started.

whether this PC complies with the necessary
specifications. Information can be obtained from
your Bosch franchised dealer.

Sensor configuration

3.2.1

Sensor spacing

1. Select the menu <Maintenance><Options><System
settings> <Distance Reference System>. Enter the
reference system spacing in "mm" or "inch" and
confirm with <ok>.
2. Terminate the wheel alignment program.
