3.4.1

Bluetooth USB adapter

The Bluetooth USB adapter included in the scope of
delivery is inserted into the PC/laptop and provides a
radio link to components of BEA 950 capable of wire-
less communication.
3.4.2

Troubleshooting

In the event of problems with the Bluetooth radio
link, refer to the information in the separate in-
structions "Bluetooth USB Adapter" and "Important
information for wireless connections and Connected
Repair (CoRe)".

Operation

4.1

Commissioning

1. Remove the packaging from all components sup-
plied.

2. Fix the mounting bracket (Fig. 3, Item 2) to the trol-
ley.

To prevent the BEA 070 from falling down, the
mounting bracket must be secured firmly to the trol-
ley.
3. Attach BEA 070 (Fig. 3, Item 1) to the bracket and, if
required, plug in the USB cable to the BEA 070 and
to the USB port on the front side of the PC (Fig. 1,
Item 11).
4. Connect the power supply cable to BEA 070 and to
the socket strip (Fig. 2, Item 1).

If an angled mains plug is to be connected to the
socket strip, the cover panel under the socket strip
(Fig. 2, Item 2) must be removed to connect the
mains plug easily.
5. Connect the sensors, exhaust gas sampling probes
and adapter cables to the designated slots of
BEA 030, BEA 055 and BEA 070 (see respective
operating instructions).
6. Place the printer on the trolley (Fig. 1; Item 9)
and connect it (see installation instructions
1 689 978 599). Power supply cable and USB cable
are provided in the trolley, ready to be connected.
 BEA 950 is ready for operation.
