Initial commissioning

4.1

Commissioning

The scope of commissioning depends on the
product variant ordered.
1. Remove the packaging from all components
supplied.
2. Fit mounting for BEA 070 (fig. 4, item 2) to the trolley.

The mounting must always be attached firmly to
the trolley to prevent the suspended BEA 070 from
dropping.

3. Attach BEA 070 (fig. 4, item 1) in the mounting and,
if wished for, plug the USB connection cable on the
BEA 070 and USB port to the front of the PC (fig. 1,
item 9).
4. Connect power supply cable to the BEA 070 and to
the socket strip (fig. 1, item 10).
5. Attach the BEA 040 on the side below the KTS
module and BEA 030. Fasten either by means of
the hook-and-loop strips provided or by means
of mounting bracket 1 681 332 332 (optional
accessory).
6. Connect sensors, exhaust gas sampling probe and
adapter cables to their intended slots on BEA 040,
BEA 055, BEA 070, and KTS module (see the
relevant operating instructions).

The voltage supply for KTS 560 or KTS 590 must be
connected by means of the barrel connector with label
"⌀2.5 KTS560" on the trolley. The voltage supply for
other KTS modules must be connect by means of the
barrel connect with label "⌀2.1".

7. Remove transportation safeguards from laser printer
in accordance with the enclosed instructions.
Place laser printer (fig. 1, item 7) in the trolley and
connect it. Power supply cable and USB connecting
cable are provided in the trolley, ready to be
connected.

FSA 740 is ready for operation.
4.2

Prior to initial switch-on

The voltage supply is provided by the mains voltage
system. FSA 740 is set to 220 VAC $ 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
Note the relevant information on the label on the front
of the EPS FSA 740.

Before commissioning, ensure that the voltage in the
mains voltage system matches the voltage setting
of FSA 740. If FSA 740 is operated outdoors, we
recommend using a voltage source that is protected
by a ground fault interrupter (GFI).

The laser printer is designed for a voltage supply of
220 VAC $ 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
4.3

Language selection in Windows

After switching on for the first time, select the language
of the Windows operating system from the menu and
follow the on-screen instructions (see "PC" operating
instructions).
The language cannot be changed later any more. If this
proves necessary, please contact your Bosch authorized
dealer.
4.4 Commissioning of KTS 560, BEA 040,
BEA 055, BEA 070
The enclosed operating instructions and the Online
Help from DDC describe the commissioning of the
KTS module. Commissioning of BEA 040, BEA 055
and BEA 070 is described in the enclosed operating
instructions and in the Online Help from CDC.
Commissioning of the laser printer is described in the
enclosed operating instructions.
