Sensor connection

All LAN cables must be connected in both sensors.

The left/right assignment is specified on
commissioning and must always be maintained.

Fitting/position of adapters

Depending on the design of the measurement bay
(e.g. pit, scissors-type lifting platform, 4-column lifting
platform) attach an appropriate adapter at the sensor
and measurement bay. Fitting is described in the
separate instructions included with each adapter.

The two reference cameras must be in visual
contact. Make sure the height of the sensors is
selected accordingly.

With floor-level and under-floor platforms make sure
the sensor is not in contact with the floor with the
platform lowered. Ensure a clearance from the floor
of at least 10 mm.

For lifting platforms with adjustable runways, make
sure the correct spacing value has always been
stored in the program.

Printer

2.8.1

Commissioning

Installation

Only install the printer driver. Installation of the
additional software could have a negative effect on
operation of the network connections.
2.9

Important notes

Route the connecting cables such that there is no
risk of tripping.
2.9.1

Pit version

1. Roughly align the sensors with the aid of the
adjusting feet.
2. If there are several envisaged positions for the
sensor, all the positions must be levelled.

We recommend marking the position of the sensors
(e.g. with adhesive tape or using strips).
2.9.2

Lifting platform version

Cable holders must be attached on both sides of the
platform to protect the cables against damage and
the ingress of moisture.

1. Remove the adhesive backing.
2. The bonding surfaces on the platform must be dry
and free from foreign matter (e.g. water, dirt, salt,
oil).
3. Bond on the cable holder in horizontal position.
4. Arrange the cables and fasten the cable holders.
