Camera housing and accessories
DESCRIPTION
Moder n, innovative, waterproof housing,
c o m p l e t e l y m a d e o f t h e l a t e s t , s t r o n g e s t
technopolymer. The side opening greatly
simplifies the access to the camera, to the
optics and to all connections. This housing
is compatible with 1/2", 1/3" and 1/4"
c a m e r a s f i t t e d w i t h f i x e d f o c u s o r s m a l l
zoom lenses available on the market. It is
available in the versions with an internal
u s e f u l a r e a o f 7 0 x 7 0 x 2 7 0 m m ( 4 2 0 m m
v e r s i o n ) a n d 6 3 x 6 3 x 2 1 0 m m ( 3 6 0 m m
version).
I t i s d e s i g n e d t o b e a s s e m b l e d w i t h t h e
cables passing inside the bracket or with
e x t e r n a l w i r i n g u s i n g t w o P G 9 a n d o n e
P G 1 1 f o r 4 2 0 m m v e r s i o n , o n e P G 9 a n d
o n e P G 1 1 f o r 3 6 0 m m v e r s i o n . I f t h e
c a b l e g l a n d s a r e f i t t e d , I P 6 6 p r o t e c t i o n
level is guaranteed, except for the models
w i t h i n s t a l l e d c o o l i n g d e v i c e w h e r e t h e
protection level is IP44 (as shown in Fig. 12
and 13).
A wide range of accessories is available
allowing indoors or outdoors installation.
The installed cooling device is made up of
a ther mostat fan, which, through two air
intakes, eliminates the excess heat inside
the housing. This means the housing can
be installed even in ver y hot surroundings,
where the internal temperature must be kept
within the operating limits for the camera.
The housing where this device
is installed must be powered
by 12V DC or 24V AC voltage.

Depending on the configuration provided,
the housing can be used with:

cleaning (PC)
Sur face dir t should be rinsed away with
water and then the window cleaned with a
neutral soap diluted with water, or specific
products for spectacle lens cleaning. These
should be applied with a soft cloth.
Avoid ethyl alcohol, solvents,
h y d r o g e n a t e d h y d r o c a r b i d e ,
strong acid and alkali. Such products
m a y i r r e p a r a b l y
sur face.
INSTALLATION

How to open the housing

To open the housing, loosen the two screws
on the side (Fig. 1), turn the cover and the
upper half of the body about the opening
hinge axis. In this way there will be easy
access to the inside of the housing.

How to install the camera

T h i s s e c t i o n d e s c r i b e s h o w t o i n s t a l l t h e
c a m e r a i n s i d e t h e h o u s i n g . I t s h o u l d b e
remembered that the power supply can be
taken from the circuit supplied after making
sure it is correct one.

1. Open the housing as described before.
2. Extract (Fig. 2) the internal support slide
b y p a r t i a l l y l o o s e n i n g t h e f a s t e n i n g
screws (1).
3. Move the slide, by sliding it until the
h o l e s c o i n c i d e w i t h t h e s l i d e l o c k i n g
screws (2).
4. Fasten the camera with the 1/4" screw;
if necessar y place the insulating spacer
between the camera and the upper half
