2-3 FITTING THE PROTECTING
BRUSHES
The last step consists in fastening the
protecting brushes to their housings
with the 4 screws supplied along with
the spanner in the outfit. The figure il-
lustrates the fitting on a 3-roller Feed
unit
2-4 FITTING THE FEED UNIT
ON THE SUPPORT
Once the support has been fastened
to the workstand, one only needs to
attach the Feed unit by using the spe-
cially-designed collar (M) (see figure on
page 16) fitted at the end of the sup-
port. Two screws are used: a tighten-
ing screw (P) and a guide screw (Q);
the latter must not be tightened but only
screwed over until it touches.

2-5 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

The machine comes supplied with a
completely installed electric system.
Make sure it is connected to the user's
system by qualified personnel. The con-
nection wire is unprovided with the plug
for connection to the user's machine.
The Feed Unit can only be connected
by means of special taps for feed units
installed on the user machine, and that
guarantee the feed unit disconnection
when the machine is disconnected.
Moreover, this makes sure that after the
machine stopping and subsequent ten-
sion resetting, the feed unit does not
restart on its own. The tap must be pro-
vided with an overload protection de-
vice and must be inserted in the pro-
tective measures for the machine
undervoltage disconnection.
