The device should be used with Össur adapters. The durability of the
device cannot be guaranteed when non-Össur adapters are used.
In cases of damage, malfunction, changes in alignment, or functional
loss, the user should immediately cease using the device, and return it to
their practitioner. Improper handling (including repetitive high loads) can
cause device malfunction.
The device is weatherproof. Therefore, it cannot be submerged in water
(please refer to the Weatherproof section).
Precautions
Use of a shoe horn is recommended when donning or doffing the foot
cover, to prevent damage to both the device and foot cover.
The user must keep fingers clear of the blades when in use, as a pinch
hazard exists between the blades.
The protective film on the pyramid must be removed when device fitting
is complete.
NB: The device is designed to be used with a Spectra sock and
a recommended foot cover. The device should not be used without these
accessories.
Weatherproof
A weatherproof device allows use in a wet and/or humid environment,
but does not allow submersion. Fresh water splashing against the
enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effect. Dry
thoroughly after contact with fresh water. Fresh water includes tap water.
Excludes salt and chlorinated water.
For a weatherproof system, weatherproof components must be selected
for use with the device.
