5.1 Calibration
The calibration takes only a few seconds and sets the
device to a defi ned status. At the same time main
functions of the device are checked.
The calibration should be performed at the beginning of
work. Always calibrate before measuring a standard that is
to be stored for later use.
When measuring a larger number of samples and / or
when ambient temperatures fl uctuate, the calibration
should be repeated at regular intervals.
The calibration must be carried out under the same
environmental conditions as the subsequent
measurements.
Navigate using the
menu "Calibrate".
Confi rm your selection by pressing
the "CENTER"

The PTB-Standard is traceable to the normal of the PTB
(Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt) and is delivered
with a certifi cate from the PTB.
