Removing the Existing Coiled Cord Cable

Procedure:
1 Rotate the locking collar at the base of the microphone in a counterclockwise direction until it stops.
2 Pull out the cord and away from the base of the microphone.
3 Install the new coiled cord GMKN4072_ in a reverse order of removal.

Radio-to-Data Device: Active Data Cable

The PMKN4104_ Active Data Cable provides a 5-wire RS232 interface (for example, RxD, TxD, CTS, RTS, DTR)
between a computer and a mobile radio. The cable has to be connected to the 26-pin Accessory Connector on the rear
side of the radio and into the 9-pin connector of a Data Device (for example, PC, Laptop, console). The PMKN4104_
Active Data Cable is not repairable. Order a replacement cable as necessary: Length: 2.0 m (6.56 ft).
