5.4 Other functions (menu)

Navigating in the menu

Using the differential value function
Other functions are available to you in the menu for the scale. This enables
you to configure the scale to suit your conditions of use perfectly.
A summary of the menu structure can be found in "Menu structure" on
page 46.
1. Switch on the scale.
2. Press both arrow keys simultaneously.
The last menu item selected appears in the display.
3. Press one of the arrow keys until the desired menu item appears in the
display.
4. Confirm your selection by pressing Enter.
The current setting for the menu item or a submenu are displayed.
5. To amend the setting or call up a different submenu, press one of the
arrow keys until the desired setting is displayed.
6. Confirm the setting by pressing Enter.
You exit the menu automatically.
7. To make more settings, call up the menu again and proceed as
described.
NOTE
If no key is pressed for a few seconds, you exit the menu
automatically.
Using the BMIF function (BMIF: Breast Milk Intake Function), you can deter-
mine the quantity of food a baby is taking during a feed. To do this, save the
(bMIF)
current weight. After the feed, call up the saved weight again and weigh the
baby again. The scale calculates the difference, i.e. the quantity of food taken.
NOTE
• The weight difference is not transferred along with the WiFi data
transmission.
• No measured values can be sent via WiFi if the BMIF function is acti-
vated. Ensure that the BMIF function is deactivated if you want to
send measured values via WiFi (see "Data transmission (models with
a WiFi interface)" on page 64).
1. Switch on the scale.
2. Place the baby on the scale before a feed.
The current weight is displayed.
3. Select the item "bMIF" from the menu.
The symbol for the BMIF function appears.
4. Confirm your selection.
5. Select the "Sto" menu item.
The symbol appears.
6. Confirm your selection.
The display "Sto 1" appears.
The symbol appears.
Arrows flash in the display.
7. Select one of three memories (in this case: 2).
8. Confirm your selection.
The current weight value is saved.
9. Place the baby back on the scale after the feed.
10. Select the item "bMIF" from the menu.
