may occur. It is recommended to turn off the generator's
irrigation during operation of Mini L.E.D. SP.
To use Mini L.E.D. SP on the ultrasonic generator, the
footswitch must be pressed and the power set to
maximum.

generator.
6 – EVERYDAY USE
1) Connect Mini L.E.D. SP to the generator correctly.
2) Insert the light guide with its shield fitted, into the
handpiece.
3) Set the generator to maximum power.
4) Place the light guide as close as possible to the
surface of the material to be photo-polymerized. To
avoid damaging the light guide and reducing its
efficiency, never let it touch the composite material.
5) Press the generator control footswitch and keep it
pressed throughout the polymerization cycle. This
action will be confirmed by an audible beep.
6) Every five seconds, a short audible signal will sound
to enable gauging of the curing time.
7) Releasing the footswitch interrupts the cycle.
8) In the case of excessive use, an internal thermic
detector will stop the current cycle. The status LED
turns red and a dual warning signal will sound.
Release the control pedal and wait for the lamp to
cool down. The lamp is ready for use again when the
LED turns green after pressing the pedal.
7 – CARE
Warning: For daily maintenance, disconnect Mini L.E.D.
SP from the ultrasonic generator before disinfecting.
Clean and sterilize the light guide after each patient.
1) The Mini L.E.D. SP and its accessories can be cleaned
and disinfected with ready-to-use cleaning and
disinfecting wipes impregnated with alcohol, an
amphoteric and a biguamide (refer to manufacturer's
instructions) for at least two minutes. Leave the
product to take effect for at least 15 minutes. Use
wipes that have CE marking or that are in compliance
with any standard required by the national
regulations.
Wipe dry using a disposable clean non-woven cloth until
there are no traces of liquid.
Packaging: Keep sterilizable accessories in single-use
sterilization sleeves or bags in compliance with the
specifications defined in standard EN ISO 11607-1 or in
any equivalent standard required by the national
regulations.
Sterilize the light guide and the flexible optical shield
individually in an autoclave before each patient,
according to the following parameters:
- autoclave, compliant with standard EN 13060, class B
- sterilization temperature: 134 °C
- duration of the sterilization hold time: 18 minutes
- Pressure: 2 bars
Storage: Then, store the sterilized products in a dry
place protected from dust.
Before re-use, if the integrity of the packaging is not
conformable, recondition and re-sterilize in accordance
with the defined protocol.
Disposition of the product: Dispose of the product in
receptacles for waste materials of healthcare activities
involving infectious risks.
2) Before cleaning the handpiece, insert the
protective cap in place of the light guide to prevent
any liquid entering the handpiece.
3) After each use, check thoroughly that no composite
residue has adhered to the light guide. Remove any
residue immediately and check that the surface of
the light guide has not been altered. If damage is
