3.3 ELECTRIC STARTING

Place the scooter on the centre stand (see section 2.12.1).
Insert the ignition key in the switch and turn it to position

Pull one of the two brake levers (preferably the rear one).
Press the starter button.
Release the starter button as soon as the engine starts.
Relese the stand and sit on the saddle.
Note: if the engine does not start, release the starter switch, wait
for a few seconds, then try again. Do not keep the starter
pressed for more than 10 seconds at each attempt,
otherwise the battery will discharge. To ensure a long
engine life, never accelerate hard when the engine is cold.

IMPORTANT! In order to ensure a maximum battery life, we
recommend you to turn the engine on with the lights
switched off.

3.4 COLD STARTING

Do not use the twist grip throttle control for cold starting. The
engine is provided with an automatic choke that - during the first
few minutes of running - will run at a higher rpm.
1) Place the vehicle on the centre stand, turn the ignition key
clockwise on position

3.5 STARTING
Warm the engine up for a few seconds before setting off.
Get onto the vehicle keeping the rear brake lever pulled and,
with both hands on the handlebars, release the brake and
then turn the twist grip throttle control gently
Make sure that both stands are in rest position
Check that the rear-view mirrors are correctly positioned.
Look out for oncoming traffic, switch on the indicator light and
move off.
Do not accelerate while pulling the brakes.
3.6 BRAKING
Close the twist grip throttle control and pull the two brake levers
gently to balance the power on both levers, so as to avoid
dangerous skidding.

After a long ride, we advise you to let the engine run idle for a
