4.2 TRANSMISSION OIL 200cc.
Check the level every 6,000 km (3720 mi) or 12 months
1) Place the scooter on a level surface on its centre stand.
2) Unscrew the dipstick (A – fig. 24), clean it and screw it tight.
3) Pull it out again and check that the oil level is between the MIN
and MAX notches.
4) If the level is insufficient, top up until you reach almost the MAX
notch.
5) Fill the oil sump with Q8 T35 – 80W
Oil sump capacity: 150cc.
Replace after the first 1,000 km (624mi) and every 24,000 km
(14880mi)
• Carry out the operations described above at points 1-2, then

place a collecting tank under the engine cover and unscrew
the drain plug (B – fig. 25) being careful not to damage the
gasket.
• Let the oil drain for several minutes into the collecting tank (be
careful not to get burnt).
• Refit the drain plug with gasket and fill with 150cc of new oil
(Q8 T35 - 80 W), then insert the oil tank filler cap together with
the dipstick (A – fig. 24).
If necessary, replace the gasket.
Note: regularly check for oil leaks near the drainage plug at the
rear wheel. If necessary, contact an Authorised Service
Centre as soon as possible.

Note: prevent foreign substances from entering the transmission
case while checking or changing the oil. Do not spill oil on
the tyre or on the wheel.
