6.2 Environmental requirement
When si ng the temperature calibrator not in a temperature controlled laboratory, look for an
area that sa sfies the following criteria as much as possible:
• A constant temperature area free from draughts and sources of heat or cold
• An area free from noice and vibra on, constantly used pathways
• A clean dry area free from liquids or vapours.
6.3 Posi oning the instrument
Posi on the instrument in ver cal posi on on a safe clean place. Leave enough space around the
instrument to allow the air to circulate into the well.
DANGER!
The temperature calibrator is suitable for opera ng at high temperatures with the
consequent danger of fire. Keep it away from any type of inflammable materials and
never put any type of liquid inside the block.
WARNING!
!
To avoid any smell in the room, it is be er to switch on the temperature calibrator
outside the room for the first me.
6.4 Power supply
The instrument runs on a voltage from 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
7
A 2.5 m cable is supplied with the calibrator, fi ed with two conductors plus earth
(1 mm²). Make sure that the plant is earthen correctly before swithing on the
instrument.
