REMOVING THE CROTCH BUCKLE
To remove the crotch buckle:
1. Remove fabric crotch pad.
2. Push the buckle down
through the fabric seat pad
towards the plastic base of
the child restraint.
3. Lift the fabric seat pad on the base
of the child restraint to expose the buckle and slot ❶.
4. Turn the metal plate so that it can slide through the
opening in the plastic base ❷. Continue to thread the
crotch strap through the plastic base and completely
remove it ❸.
The buckle MUST be looped back through the seat base
as shown ❶.

ENSURE that the strap is COMPLETELY in the slot and
the crotch strap is NOT twisted.

FAILURE TO REINSTALL THE CROTCH STRAP
CORRECTLY COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR
DEATH.
ENTFERNUNG DES SCHRITTSCHLOSSES
Zur Entfernung des Schrittschlosses:
1. Entfernen Sie das Schrittpolster.

2. Drücken Sie das Gurtschloss nach unten durch das Sitzpols-
ter in Richtung der Kunststoffbasis des Kinderrückhaltesys-
tems.
3. Heben Sie das Sitzpolster der Basis des Kinderrückhaltesys-
tems an, um das Gurtschloss und dessen Durchführung frei-
zulegen ❶.
4. Drehen Sie die Metallplatte, um sie durch die Öffnung in der
Kunststoffbasis durchzuführen ❷. Ziehen Sie den Schritt-
gurt weiter durch die Kunststoffbasis und entfernen Sie ihn
vollständig ❸.
Das Gurtschloss MUSS wie dargestellt zweimal durch die Sitz-
basis durchgeführt werden ❶.
! PRÜFEN Sie, dass der Gurt VOLLSTÄNDIG in der Durchfüh-
rung sitzt und dass der Schrittgurt NICHT verdreht ist.
EIN FALSCHER EINBAU DES SCHRITTGURTES KANN ZU SCHWE-

REN ODER TÖDLICHEN VERLETZUNGEN FÜHREN.
