Crotch strap adjustment

TIP: Change the setting outside the car to allow for sufficient space.
The crotch strap can be used in two positions on the seat. Loosen the belt buckle
and remove the crotch pad and the seat cushion from the seat plate. (fig. 11) Before
adjusting the crotch belt, the upper small plate (seat depth plate) must be unscrewed.
It is best to place the Hercules XL seat on the back plate so that the 2 screws are
easier to reach from below. (fig. 9)
Now thread the crotch strap in the desired position and make sure that the hook and
loop fastener holds well in the new position. (fig. 12) Now tighten the seat depth
plate again and guide the belt buckle through the seat cushion and crotch pad.

5-point positioning belt

Please note: The 5-point positioning belt is used to position the user in the seat and
does NOT protect the user in an accident. To secure the user in the seat, the 3-point
safety belt available in the car must ALWAYS be used.
Adjusting the height of the shoulder straps
Loosen the shoulder straps behind the back padding. (fig. 13) Then pass them
through the belt guides in the back plate at a height suitable for the user. (fig. 14)
Note that the shoulder straps must be positioned above the user's shoulder. The
upper shoulder straps must be adjusted so that the belt tensioners do not rest on the
user's collarbone. (risk of injury)
Changing the strap length of shoulder straps
Pull on the loose straps to shorten and tighten the straps. To lengthen the straps,
press the trigger of the strap tensioners and then pull the strap to the desired length.
By changing the adjustment range on the belt tensioner, you can adapt the belt even
better to the user.
