Cleaning the system tank
• Drain the system tank (inspection chamber) This can be done using a
wet vacuum cleaner
• Make sure that the system tank (inspection chamber) is free from
suspended matter and solids, clean if necessary
Cleaning the backwater preventer
ATTENTION: If the quick-release closure is opened, the water in the
pressure pipe flows out freely.
• Open the quick-release closure and undo the backwater preventer
<3> from the pressure pipe
• Dismantle the backwater flap; to do this, unscrew the four screws as
shown, remove the backwater flap <4> and clean it
• Reassemble and install the backwater preventer in the reverse order
The pumping station is clean and after installing the pump and
performing a functional check (see 4.7.2) it is once again ready for
operation
