Operation

The backwater preventers must be functional during operation, see <2> in Fig. [7], page 34
For variants without control unit the installation is ready for operation as soon as the connection to the mains
power supply has been made.
5.1

Switching on

* Connect to the mains voltage, following a successful system test
menu 0 System info appears in the display <23> and
the green LED <22> lights up, the control unit Ecolift
Comfort is ready for operation.
5.2

Acknowledge the alarm

Alarm message in normal operation
If a state occurs which triggers an alarm
(e.g. fault in the pump, level of the wastewater
reaches alarm level), this is indicated as follows:
- Alarm LED <21> lights up.
- If appropriate fault message on the display.
- Acoustic alarm.
The acoustic alarm can be switched off by pressing the button <69>
(approx. 1 second). After
removing the cause of the alarm, the alarm message
can be acknowledged by pressing the button <69> (for at least 5 seconds).
Alarm message in the event of a power outage
A power outage is detected by the control unit. The battery supply
of the control unit then triggers an alarm message. At the same time, the
acoustic alarm sounds. The symbols shown appear on the display.
If no selection is made at the control unit, the display is switched
off after one minute to save the battery. Pressing any button (approx. 1 second)
switches the display back on again.
The acoustic alarm can be switched off by pressing the button <69> (approx. 1 second).
5.3

Maintenance

If the wording "maintenance date" flashes on the display, carry out maintenance and then enter a new
maintenance date.
