• The use of the paint pressure tank in explosive areas of zone 0 is
prohibited!
• Work areas in which hazardous substances are stored or applied
must possess sufficient ventilation. In case of defective ventila-
tion, immediately stop working and switch off all agitators.
• Halogenised cleaning agents could lead to the formation of ex-
plosive and caustic chemical compounds. Therefore, the use of
halogenised cleaning agents is prohibited!
• Always keep the paint pressure tank away from ignition sources, such
as open fire, burning cigarettes or non-explosion-proof electronic
devices!
• Please avoid any ignition sources in the work area where the paint
pressure tank is located which could develop from open fire, flying
sparks (e.g. while sanding or welding)!
• When working with the paint pressure tank, always limit solvents,
paints or other coating media to the quantities which are required for
the paint job! Excessive material must be returned to the designated
storage areas afterwards!
• Never move the paint pressure tank while pressurised!
• Paint pressure tanks must only be operated within the range of
parameters (e.g. pressure, temperature) indicated on the type
plate!
• SATA paint pressure tanks are made of ultra-durable stainless
steel. However, please consult your SATA dealer when working with
highly corrosive or abrasive spray media.
• Please always disconnect the pressure tank from the air supply
and completely depressurise the tank via the ventilation valve
[1-3] before opening!
• Switch off the agitator before opening, making sure that it cannot
be unintentionally switched on again!
• All connected components (e.g. hoses and pipes ) must be
resistant against thermal, chemical and mechanical strain and
combinations thereof to be expected during operation!
