Unpacking and assembly

1.1 unpacking
Remove the packaging and transportation protection
from all the components supplied and dispose of these
in the prescribed manner.
1.2 Fitting monitor

Monitor assembly is described in the separate in-
structions 912310001.
1.3 Connection to PC unit

Make sure the rubber grommet is correctly posi-
tioned in the back wall to prevent cable damage.

Different LAN connectors: Make sure the round con-
nectors are routed to the sensor.
1. Remove the back wall from the cabinet.
2. Route the 4 LAN connecting cables and the two
cables for the distributor box through the back wall
and connect up in any order.
3. Insert the power cord in the multiple socket outlet.
4. Connect the video cable to the PC unit.
5. Fix all the wiring in position with cable ties.

2. Measurement bay
2.1 General information on the measure-
ment bay
The FWA 4360 can be used over inspection
pits or together with lifting platforms. The measure-
ment bay must provide a flat surface. Roughly the same
amount of space is required as for motor vehicle in-
spection purposes.
It is extremely important for the wheel support points
(turntables, sliding bases) to be on the same level. Use
is made of a testing device to check the level of the
wheel support points.

2.2 Measurement bay level check
Level checking is performed by the service department
using the levelling device 938 060 000.
Permissible height difference:

Between left and right

Between front and rear
R
Diagonally from front left to rear right

Diagonally from front right to rear left

If necessary, correct the height difference by fitting
turntables.

In combination with a lifting platform it is essential
to ensure that the measuring and working height is
identical.

The turntables must be pinned to the lifting plat-
form. Protect the turntables and sliding bases
against contamination.
