2. Description of appliance

This instantaneous water heater is exclusively intended to provide economical heating of
water sufficient for a single shower with the special shower mixer tap included.
As soon as you open the hot water tap, the instantaneous water heater switches on
automatically. When the tap is closed, the appliance automatically switches off. Its elec-
tronic control regulates the power consumption automatically depending on the feed
temperature and the flow rate, thus reaching the set outlet temperature up to the appli-
ance's power limit.
The factory set outlet temperature is 45 °C. This factory setting can be adjusted in the appli-
ance to be in a range of approx. 30 and 45 °C by a specialist only.
If the flow rate is too low, if the flow pressure is too low, or if the warm-water tap is closed, the
appliance switches itself off automatically.
The maximum possible outlet temperature is determined by the temperature of the incoming
water, the rate of flow and the heating power of the heater (see diagram). The flow rate can
be preset (see chapter "Adjusting the water flow" on page 25).
