2. Description of the appliance

The instantaneous water heater CEX 7-U is a electronically controlled, pressure-resist-
ant water heater for a decentralised hot water supply to one or more outlets.
Its electronic control regulates the heating power consumption depending on the

selected outlet temperature, the respective inlet temperature and the flow rate, thus
reaching the set temperature exactly to the degree and keeping it constant in case of
pressure fluctuations. The operation is done via the digital control panel. The required
outlet temperature can be entered on a keypad within a range between 20 °C and
60 °C and can be read off the digital display.
The maximum inlet temperature can be up to 70 °C so that operation in connection
with solar heating systems is possible.
It is possible to use the instantaneous water heater in combination with an external
load shedding relay for electronically controlled instantaneous water heaters or a
prepared load shedding box to operate the appliance along with an electromechanic
cooker (refer to installing instructions).
