15. Operation
The operating instructions of the products which are to be used with the UNIDRIVE are also applicable
independently of these operating instructions. The important parts, especially the function of the indi-
vidual products, can be found in them in detail.
15.1 Selection of the Anchor Point
To use the UNIDRIVE, anchor points each with a minimum load-bearing capacity of 10 kN are re-
quired (EU regulation). When being used outside the EU, the country-specific requirements for the
strength of the anchor points are applicable.

Max. number of descents in accordance with equipment class A
Max. number of descents in accordance with equipment class B
Temperature range in which the device may be used
Symbol for information that the operating instructions must be
complied with
