7.2 Incorrect and Improper Use
UNIDRIVE must not be used for the transport of more than two people together or for the lowering or
lifting of loads. The specified load-bearing capacity (maximum 200 kg) must not be exceeded. Every
change of use must be agreed with the manufacturer.
Application-specific rescue procedures must be agreed with the manufacturer. Training in these res-
cue procedures must be carried out by a trained instructor authorized by the manufacturer.
Every incorrect or improper use of the equipment as well as the non-observance of these original op-
erating instructions shall lead to the exclusion of any liability of the manufacturer.
7.3 Keeping an Inspection Log Book
The manufacturer recommends that the operating company keeps an inspection log book with the
following entries:
Date and name of the trained operator of the UNIDRIVE
Recording of incidents and actions taken
Date and results report of regular periodic inspections
8. Description of the Rescue Lifting Device
The UNIDRIVE rescue lifting device consists of products from the field of personal protective equip-
ment against falls which have all been separately tested and approved.
As a full body harness the MKA20 E Klick Fit is recommended. With this combination, the body of the
user is so held and supported that comfortable hanging during descent procedures is made possi-
ble.(Use exclusively anchor eyelets (marked with "A"))
Application Rescue Lifting Device:
The free connector (top) of the UNIDRIVE rescue lifting device is fastened to the front eyelet of the
body harness. Thereby is ensured that the user is attached in an easy sitting position.
The UNIDRIVE rescue lifting device is fixed to a suitable anchor point.
Information:
Initial instruction and training by the manufacturer, or an instructor trained by him, before commission-
ing is required by law as only a trained user is safely in control of the UNIDRIVE equipment in all work
situations.
