CHECKS AND MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS BEFORE AND AFTER OFF-ROAD
USE
To avoid trouble during operation, it is advisable to perform a few checks and
maintenance operations before and after riding. In addition in order to make your
vehicle safer, a few minutes spent carrying out these operations will enable you to
save time and money.
Follow these steps:
TYRES
SPOKES
NUTS AND BOLTS Check the tightening of all nuts and bolts.
DRIVE CHAIN
AIR FILTER
Note
Check the presence of the vehicle identification papers.
In cold weather, it is advisable to warm up the engine by letting it idle a few minutes
before starting it off.
Each time the vehicle is used cross-country, it is necessary to wash carefully, dry it
and then lubricate.

RECOMMENDED LUBRICANTS

To maximize the vehicle's performance and ensure many years of trouble-free opera-
tion, we recommend using the following products:

BRAKE OIL
FORK OIL (570 cc RH and LH)
TIE ROD GREASE
Note:
It is essential that all renewals should be performed with the products listed in the
table above.

Check the inflating pressures, the general condition, and the
tread depth.
Check the tensioning.
Check the tension (play = 20 mm) and if necessary lubricate.
Clean the filter and wet it with the appropriate oil (see page 129)
