2. Loosen the two screws marked with white
circles on the back of the unit and remove the
battery compartment cover (see "Replacing
the Battery"). Remove the Battery and
disconnect it from the battery wire. This way it
is possible to slide the battery wire through
the rear of the housing.
3. Now loosen the 6 marked screws as seen in
the picture on the right.
4. Carefully lift the rear part of the unit off. Be
careful not to loose any of the screws, flat
washers or the rubber seal.
5. In the lower area are two fuses, the one on
the right is the 10 A fuse and the one on the
left is the 500 mA Fuse. The fuses can be
removed by simply pulling them straight out.
6. Replace the fuse with one of the same type
and dimensions (F500 mA / 1000 V Ø 6.35 x
32 mm resp. F10 A / 1000 V Ø 10 x 38 mm).
7. After changing the fuse reattach the rear
part. Make sure all seals, wires and screws
are in their correct positions. Reconnect the
battery and close the battery compartment
cover.
The unit is now ready to use.
ATTENTION! Do not operate the unit with
the housing open.
