Cleaning, Care and Storage

PLEASE NOTE!
■ CAUTION – Danger of Burns! All accessories may be very hot during and shortly
after use. Wait a few minutes until the device and the accessories used have cooled
down completely before removing them.
■ Do not use any solvents, aggressive cleaning agents or cleaning pads for cleaning.
They could damage the device.
• Press the trigger (D) on the handle (1) once again and allow any remaining steam to
escape via the fl oor nozzle if necessary.
• Completely empty the water tank after each use:
– unscrew the water tank cap (3),
– hold the main unit (6) over a sink or similar outlet and tip out the rest of the water,
– ideally do not close the water tank (4) again immediately so that the moisture can
escape,
– screw on the water tank cap again so it is hand-tight before storing it away.
• Wipe down the main unit with a soft, slightly damp cloth if necessary and then dry it
with a soft cloth.
• The accessories can be cleaned with clear water and a little mild detergent if necessary.
• The fl oor cloth can be washed in the washing machine. Follow the instructions on the
washing label. Do not use any fabric softener or bleach!
• All parts must be completely dry before the device and the accessories are stored away.
Care
To ensure that the steam cleaner can clean with full force, the water tank (4) should be
descaled at regular intervals (after approx. 25 – 50 uses).
1. Pour a mixture of one part vinegar and two parts water into the water tank (note the
maximum fi ll level!).
2. Position the device in such a way that the steam that is emitted does not hit any del-
icate fl oors or other objects.
3. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed plug socket that is easily accessible.
4. Press the On / Off switch (8) to switch on the device. The operating lamp (10) and the
heating control lamp (9) light up.
5. Hold the handle (1) with or without attachment over a sink or bucket and allow the
vinegar/water mixture to run through once completely by pressing the trigger until the
water tank is empty.
6. Press the On / Off switch again to switch off the device and pull the mains plug out of
the plug socket.
7. Rinse the water tank with fresh water to remove vinegar residues and odours.

• The crevice attachment, the brushes and the adapters can
be stored away in the storage compartment (7) of the de-
vice.
• Store the device in a frost-free, dry, clean, cool place that
is not accessible to children and animals.
