e) Turning the transmitter on
Turn the transmitter on before connecting the rechargeable battery pack with the control unit.
If required, check its display (LC display) to see whether the inserted rechargeable batteries/batteries are still fully
charged.
f) Connecting the rechargeable battery pack
Prior to connecting the rechargeable battery pack to the control unit, activate the remote control transmitter (see
chapter 8d and 8e).
To prevent a sudden starting of the wheels and therefore an uncontrolled starting of the model (e.g. if the trimming for
the drive is maladjusted), place the model vehicle on a suitable surface or mount, so that the wheels can turn freely in
case there is a fault.
Now connect the rechargeable battery pack to the control unit.
g) Activating the control unit
Place the transmitter gas/brake lever in the neutral position
and move the control unit switch (see circle in illustration on
the right) to the "ON" position. It is possible that the switch is
positioned elsewhere on the vehicle.
Wait a few seconds until the LED on the control unit is
continuously lit red.
Now check the drive and steering function of the vehicle.
If necessary, adjustments can be made to the settings with
the help of the control unit and transmitter operating
instructions, e.g. trimming the steering on the transmitter or
programming of the control unit on the transmitter

(positioning of full acceleration, neutral, reverse).
h) Attaching and fastening the car body
Pass the antenna tube through the intended opening from the underside of the body (it may be necessary to drill an
appropriate hole in the body).
Now put the car body on the holders and fasten the vehicle panelling with the safety clips removed at the start.
Your car is now ready for its first test run.
