14. Entretien et nettoyage
a) Changement de l'hélice
Le capuchon du cône (1) est seulement posé sur l'arbre porte-hélice et peut être facilement enlevée
en retirant avec doigté.
L'hélice (2) est tenue par un écrou qui peut être dévissé au moyen de la clé à molette ci-jointe (3).
• Après que vous avez dévissé l'écrou et enlevé
la rondelle (4), l'hélice peut être retirée.
• En plaçant l'hélice de rechange veillez tenir
compte à la forme de l'hélice.
Les arêtes légèrement courbes (5) doivent être
à l'avant par rapport au sens de rotation de
l'hélice.
• Après que l'hélice est vissée, le capuchon du
cône peut être replacé.
b) Contrôle de l'électroréducteur
• Après que vous avez enlevé l'hélice et vous
avez dévissé les trois vis du capotage, vous
pouvez retirer le capotage vers l'avant.
• Vérifiez d'après l'état de l'électroréducteur.
Faites attention aux aspects dûs à l'usure de
la roue dentée d'hélice (1) et du pignon du
moteur (2) et à ce que les deux roues dentées
sont placé correctement.
• Avant de monter la verrière et l'hélice, viellez
à ce que les vis du moteur soient fermement
fixées.

• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become dangerous playing material for chil-
dren!

b) Before operation
• Unroll the wound up wire of the antenna of the model to its complete length. The part that hangs
out of the model must be neither turned over towards the front and fastened to the model nor cut
off.
The best reception results are attained if the wire hangs loose from the model and is dragged
during the flight.
• Make sure that no other models are operated within the range of the remote control on the same
remote control channel (transmitter frequency). Otherwise, you will lose the control over the re-
mote controlled model!
Always use different channels if you wish to operate simultaneously two or several models in the

immediate proximity of each other.
• Check the function safety of your model and of the remote control system. Pay attention to visible
damages such as broken plug-in connections or damaged cables. All movable parts on the model
have to be smooth running; however, there must be no tolerance in the bearing.
• Charge the flight battery, which is necessary for operation, as well as the rechargeable battery
needed in the remote control according the instructions indicated by the manufacturer.
• As power source for the plug-in mains unit, use a 230V/50 Hz mains socket of the public mains
only. Never try to operate the device at another voltage.
• If batteries are used for the power supply of the transmitter, make sure that there is a sufficient
rest capacity (battery checker). If the batteries are empty, always replace the complete set, never
individual cells only.
• Before each operation, control the settings of the trim slider at the transmitter for different steer-
ing directions and, if necessary, set them.
• To operate your model, always pull out the telescopic antenna to its full length as otherwise the

transmitters presents a considerable lower range and the transmitter output is strained higher
than average.
• Always switch the transmitter on first. It is only afterwards that you may connect the flight battery
of the model or switch the model on. Otherwise, unexpected reactions of the electric airplane model
may occur and the propeller can run unintentionally!
