10 Operating the model helicopter
Attention!
Always connect one battery pack only to the charge adaptor/balancer. Charging simultaneously
a 2 cell and a 3 cell battery pack is strictly forbidden! Danger of fire and explosion!
Place the LiPo battery pack during the charging procedure on a fire-proof support.
Only charge the flight battery included in the delivery or an original spare flight battery with the
charge adaptor/balancer. When charging different rechargeable batteries there is a risk of fire
and explosion!
Never charge rechargeable batteries unsupervised!
Take note of page 38 for further information relevant to the handling of rechargeable batteries.
If the flight battery is empty, wait before flying again until the drive and the electronics of the
helicopter cool off. Otherwise, the drive and the electronics can be damaged due to overheat-
ing. Wait for at least 10 minutes before running the next flight.
Do not leave the rechargeable battery connected to the helicopter if the latter is not used (e.g.
during transport or storage). Otherwise, the battery pack can be fully discharged and thus
destroyed/unusable!
The plug-in power supply unit and the charge adaptor/balancer must be used in closed, dry in-
door locations only. The plug-in power supply unit as well as the charge adaptor/ balancer and
the rechargeable battery must not get damp or wet. Danger of a lifethreatening electric shock!
Observe all safety instructions and information relevant to operation contained in these oper-
ating instructions!
b) Checking the retainer of the rotor blade
• To allow the 4 rotor blades (1) to orientate
themselves at a 180° angle to each other
during operation, the screws of the 4 blade
retainers (2) must not be too firmly tight-
ened.
• If you pitch the model helicopter by 90° to
the side, the rotor blades must be able to
let slightly downward as illustrated in the
figure.
