The camera is intended to be mounted on walls or ceil-
ings.
Connection
Use a source of DC current with a 12 V out-
put as power supply. Never try to operate
your DOME camera with another voltage.
The DC power supply for the black and
white camera must have a minimum power
capacity of 110 mA and for the colour cam-
era it must be able to supply 40 mA.
Never overload the power supply.
The camera is connected to
the monitor / TV set via a BNC
line. The camera has a low
voltage socket for the power
supply.

Maintenance
Regularly check the technical safety of the camera and
the connected power supply, e.g. for damages of the
connecting lines and the housing.
If there is room to believe that safe operation has
become impossible put the camera or the adapter out of
operation and secure them against any unintended
operation. Pull the plug!
Safe operation must be presumed to be no longer possi-
ble, if
• the camera or the connecting lines exhibit visible
damage
• the camera or the connected adapter do not operate
any longer
• the product was stored under unfavourable condi-
tions for a long period of time or
• the product was exposed to extraordinary stress
caused by transport.
In case of defect, mains parts may emit over 50 V DC
which may be dangerous, even if the output voltage of
the adapter is lower.
