Before cleaning the device or performing mainte-
nance, the following safety notes must be observed:
When you open the covers or remove parts,
live parts may be exposed.
Therefore, disconnect the device from all
voltage sources before you perform mainte-
nance work or repairs.
Capacitors inside the device may still carry
voltage even though you have disconnected
all voltage sources. In such a case, Discon-
nect the device from the power supply and
bring it to a specialised workshop.
Repair may only be carried out by qualified
personnel who are familiar with the hazards
involved and the relevant regulations.
Disposal
Dispose of the device according to the valid legal
requirements when it has become unusable.

Putting the camera into operation
In order to make sure that you put the
camera into operation correctly, read this
manual and the safety instructions care-
fully and completely.
When choosing a location for your camera, make sure
to avoid direct or intensive sunlight, vibrations, dust, hot
and cold temperatures and moisture.
There must not be any devices with a strong magnetic
field near the camera such as radio telephones, radio
equipment, electrical engines etc.
They could affect the image quality.
Direct sunlight or very light illumination etc. can affect
the image considerably and it may become very difficult
to see the picture. displayed
Please keep this in mind when choosing a locati-
on for your camera.
Choose a suitable place for the camera that is to be
supervised.
