Do not leave the packaging material lying around. Plastic foils and
bags, polystyrene parts etc. are dangerous toys in the hands of
children.
This appliance does not belong into the hands of children. It is not a
toy.
In commercial institutions, make sure you observe the accident pre-
vention regulations of the commercial trade organization for electric
installations.
If you are not certain how to connect the lamp correctly or in
case of any questions not covered by the operating manual,
please contact our technical information service or another
expert.
Commissioning
In order to ensure proper commissioning, carefully
read this operating manual with the safety notices!
When selecting the installation site for the camera, make sure that it
will not be exposed to direct, intensive sunlight, vibrations, dust,
heat, cold and dampness.
The camera may not be installed in proximity to devices with strong
magnetic fields.

Turn the dome off and use the four holes in the base plate for the
drilling pattern.
Make sure that there are no electric lines, water pipes
etc. underneath the intended drilling spot.
Screw the base plate tight with the provided screws.
Use dowels if necessary.
Use a suitable screwdriver.
Screw the cover back onto the camera.
Never operate the camera without its cover.

Maintenance and Disposal

Maintenance
Check the technical safety of the camera and the connected power
source at regular intervals, e.g. for damage to the connections.
If safe operation can no longer be assured, put the camera respec-
tively the secondary appliance out of operation and protect it from
being used again accidentally! Pull the power plug out of the socket.
Safe operation can no longer be assumed if
• the camera or the connections of power packs show visible
damages
• the camera or the connected power pack no longer work properly
• after long storage under adverse conditions or
• after heavy transport strain.
In case of malfunctioning, power packs may emit voltages of up to
50 VDC. These are dangerous even if the source voltage of the
power pack is lower.
